Privacy Policy — Vocabulary Master
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Vocabulary Master ("the app") is published by drift studio. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Summary
The app does not collect, store on any server, sell or share personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Information on your device
The app stores your study progress, lists (bookmarks, history, weak words), notes and settings in its own storage on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
No internet access
The app does not request the internet permission. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Backups and exports
If you choose to back up your progress or export a word list, the app writes a file to the location you pick (for example your phone storage or Google Drive). That file is under your control.
Reports you send
If you report a mistake or suggest a translation, the report is saved on your device. It is sent only if you choose to share it, using another app (such as email). We use reports only to improve the word content.
Notifications
The app uses notifications only for study reminders, Word of the Day and an optional search shortcut. You can turn them off in Settings.
Children
The app is designed for exam candidates aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13.
Deleting your data
Use Settings › Reset all progress, or uninstall the app, to delete all data the app stored on your device.
Third-party content
Some dictionary entries come from Wiktionary (CC BY-SA 4.0), Princeton WordNet and Tatoeba (CC BY 2.0 FR). These are content sources only; no data is sent to them.
